Fantastic Weekend Getaway!

Just spent a fantastic weekend getaway at Bear Creek Resort in Thompson Falls, Montana. Excellent cabins, beautiful area, and the nicest owners we've ever met. If you are into disc golf, or just love a peaceful mountain setting, you need to check into this place. Best thing about the weekend was sharing it with Sherry and Jay, and Michelle and Ryan. Loved every minute. Thanks again, we will be back. Other family members are already planning later summer vacations at Bear Creek Resort!

Nice, New and Hospitable!

OK. I have stayed at other lodging in Thompson Falls over this last year, traveling back and forth to visit family. This week, I stayed at Bear Creek. First, it is important to note that this place has only been opened a year or so, which is why it has been reviewed less often than other lodging. But, I like this place much better than the other places I have stayed. The people running it are very kind and likable... which means something to me. The grounds are kept very clean and tidy. The cabin itself seems brand new. The beds are good, the AC is cold, and if the rooms have direct tv. There is wildlife in front of my cabin al day. A buck just walked by. The lodging is maybe 20 minutes from the center of town, but all in all, I believe the drive is worth it. I would highly recommend this place.

Wonderful Stay, Gorgeous Views!

Absolutely beautiful property! The owner was so kind and courteous and very accomodating. Because there were less travelers than normal she upgraded us from a bottom cabin to a top cabin with a deck and a patio set. The views were gorgeous as was the drive to the cabin. If we are ever in the area again this will be our first choice of stays. The deer grazing in the yard were the icing on the cake!

We WILL be back!

We can't get enough of this place! It is beautiful inside and out. Quiet, private, away from any roads. All you can hear are birds and chipmunks :) Our room is immaculate in every way. They really went all out when they designed/decorated these rooms! We literally do not want to leave this little slice of heaven! It is not your average hotel/motel experience. You arrive, they give your cabin number and that's it. No phone calls, no housekeeping bothering you. We walked in from a 100 degree day and our AC was already on for us, and the electric fireplace was on (not the heat part) for a cozy feel. We WILL be back!

Try it out, you'll be glad you did!

I have been going to Thompson Falls Mt for the past 2 years. I have stayed or visited all the Hotels that TF has to offer. I can say with no hesitation that Bear Creek Resort is the absolute best accommodations in the area, I say that because the place is incredibly clean and new all the rooms furnishings are of the highest quality. When I was their in May the resort just completed a fiber install for internet, I VPN'ed into my corp network from my cabin connectivity and band width was rock solid no problems Netflicks playing on the tablet. The location is great for watching wild life, the cabin setup offers plenty of privacy. The game room and Frisbee-golf course was a blast, not playing before the staff was right there to get us started, vary relaxing playing and walk through the woods. I feel this place is the best value for the money, try it you will be glad you did.

We will stay again soon!

We took our daughter-n-law and two grandson ages 2 & 1. We had lots of wildlife to look at each day. The game room was full of fun things to do. The laundry room was nice to have. After walking the18 hole frisbee golf course my husband wish he played frisbee golf. It was awesome. The cabins were very nice . We will stay again soon

Quiet and Beautiful!

We needed a place to stay in Thompson Falls Montana while we attended a wedding of a friend. We rented a room at the Bear Creek Resort. Price was right and the Room was clean and cozy . Deer in the front yard every day. 13 miles from town so we had a cooler with some snack food. The room had a small fridge and a microwave and a large flat screen tv. What a place, Angela was great to work with and we are making plans to return on a longer stay. Nice place to visit just to relax. 5 stars

We're already making plans to come back!

My wife and I stayed for two nights, three days at Bear Creek (July 21-23) and enjoyed it tremendously. The cabins are marvels of construction. It's very obvious that a lot of time, money and carpentry skill was invested in them. The decor and bedsteads have a rustic, log-style appearance, the beds themselves have very comfortable mattresses and three plush pillows each. A very large TV with satellite reception sits in one corner. There's very good lighting in the main room (bedroom), the kitchenette and the bathroom (overhead and over the mirror). A big supply of towels and a nice shower. The kitchenette has a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffeemaker with ample packets of coffee. If you plan to do cooking, however, you'll need to bring your own pans, dishes and utensils. There's a table with chairs inside and another table with 2 chairs on the porch. A very nice porch to sit on in the evenings as the sun sinks down over the trees and watch the deer come out on the big front field to forage. The tranquility and beauty of the place was soul-soothing. We're already making plans to come back.
